RAMAC - Redding Area Miniature Aircraft Club
If you are an AMA member (Academy of Model Aeronautics) and would like to fly at the RAMAC field, or if you would like learn to fly radio-controlled models, please contact a current member. The RAMAC field is locked. There is also a locked gate at the entrance to the access road that serves both RAMAC and a recycling station. This access road gate is sometimes left open for a few hours, but will be locked when recycling or RAMAC people leave. Do not enter the access road unless you have a gate key available - which is needed for you to leave. The exact field location must be obtained from a member, but it is just north of Redding in the town of Shasta Lake.
